New garbage bins in town
Anybody who drives down Main Street would notice that litter and garbage is a common problem. It seems that no matter how often it is picked up, it always seems to find its way back. To help reduce the amount of garbage on the ground, The Town of Slave Lake has recently placed a total of 13 new garbage bins along Main Street and in several other locations throughout the town. These new bins are mainly to reduce the amount of garbage on the ground between 7-Eleven and Tim Hortons, as well as several other areas. Now their is no excuse for littering along mainstreet, there are easily accessible garbage cans everywhere! Let’s hope that everybody will use and look after these new bins well.
