Large truck lands in ditch on highway 88

A heavy snowfall has created poor driving conditions in Northern Alberta. This truck was spotted in the ditch nestled close to the trees at mile 63 on highway 88 January 11, 2009.
Monday, at 10:00 PM, Environment Canada issued another snowfall warning for Slave Lake and area with 10 to 15 centimeters of snow expected Monday night into Tuesday. The warning stated that the heaviest snowfalls are expected to occur from the Southern Wabasca Region south eastwards.
Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 3 degrees on Thursday, 6 degrees on Friday and around 0 degrees for the rest of the week. Road conditions could become even more treacherous.
