Slave Lake’s Rotary Club recently presented a plaque of thanks to Scotiabank manager Mireille Onyszchk and her co-workers for their continued help at the club’s fund-raisers and community events. Presenting the plaque to the manager, Rotary President Lenny Richer said bank employees have been Rotary partners and champions for several years – and the bank itself has been an active partner too.
“We commend Scotiabank for actively supporting its employees in their volunteer efforts as it is an essential part to any community. Without the generosity of community members such as those at Scotiabank, the Rotary Club of Slave Lake could not possibly achieve its fundraising goals.”
