SAWFEST July 2-5, 2009
Sean Kingston is the Headliner for Sunday’s Sawfest Show.
The Miami born, Jamaica bred artist is becoming a household name with his first single “Beautiful Girls” and just released a new smash hit “Fire Burning.” Sean Kingston just appeared on the hit TV show “So You Think You Can Dance” last week.
July 5 Afternoon Concert World Famous Dj’s and POP Artist’s Headliner SEAN KINGSTON, Global Deejays, Dj Joe Rowe, Dj Mixmasta Joven,( Tributes Demi Lovato, Hanna Montana, Jonas Brothers), REDNATION, Slave Lake’s own The NOLANS(RMH school) opening the Sunday show.
Tickets for the “Ist Annual Sawridge Festival” to be held in Slave Lake July 2 to 5, are available and can be purchased at Ticketmaster, Sports First and the Sawridge Inn & Conference Centre.
A 2 day package for Sawfest 2009 is available and includes Sam Roberts with guests on July 3 and Paul Brandt with guests on July 4. Cost: $100.00

Saturday, July 4 Paul Brandt with Guests Cost:$60.00

The festival begins Thursday, July 2 and runs through Sunday, July 5. Located at Sawridge Field, Slave Lake, “the field will be fenced, decorated and concert ready with food vendors, games, beer gardens and open for business at 3:00 p.m. and live music on the main stage plays from 4:00-11 p.m.
Headliners are Paul Brant, Saturday, July 4 & Sam Roberts, Friday July 3.

THURSDAY 2nd – Invitation ONLY (includes all “All Event” Pass holders) “Launch Reception” at Sawridge Inn’s Ballroom starts at 6pm. Includes 2 drink tickets (there will be bars open for purchase of drinks as well) wide selection of “Finger Food” snacks and entertainment with STEVE LYONS BAND (a Slave Lake Band that plays own material & “cover numbers”).
FRIDAY 3rd – All events at the Festival (gates open by 3pm) music from approx 4pm to 11pm – with LONG WAY DOWN (local St Albert Band), DUSTIN BENTALL, TUPELO HONEY, MATT MAYS with EL TORPEDO and Headliner SAM ROBERTS BAND. Also entry to the “After Party” at Sawridge Inn’s Ballroom starting at 11pm until 2am – with HONEYMOON SUITE (original Line Up) on stage at 11:30pm.
SATURDAY 4th – All events at the Festival (gates open by 3pm) music from approx 4pm to 11pm – with CURTIS GRAMBO, THE WILKINSONS, JASON BLAINE and Headliner PAUL BRANDT. Also entry to the “After Party” at Sawridge Inn’s Ballroom starting at 11pm until 2am – with PRISM on stage at 11:30pm.
SUNDAY 5th – All events at the Festival (gates open by 11am) music from approx 12 noon to 6pm – with THE NOLANS (Local School Group); DJ MIXMASTER JOVEN, DJ JOE ROWE (from Ottawa); CAMP ROCK REVISITED a Tribute Group from Toronto (Tributes to Hannah Montana, Jonas Brothers & Demi Lovato); the GLOBAL DEEJAYS (from Germany/Austria); REDDNATION (winners of a number of Aboriginal Music Awards and Headliner SEAN KINGSTON

Hey. Was just wondering if theres going to be camping available. Not a lot of info on the website at the moment. How many people are they expecting? Havent heard much advertising for it down here in edmonton but thinking of bringing a truckload of friends up there for the weekend. Any extra info would be appreciated. Thanks

There are approximately 1,400 sites available. Each campsite cost $20.00 (HST included) per site, plus $10.00 per person* for the weekend, and must be paid by credit card or cash At Camping GATE.
*Campers will be issued a special bracelet when registering on Friday evening. This will allow the individual access to the campgrounds all weekend. Individuals without this special bracelet will not be permitted onto the campgrounds. This bracelet is different from the concert bracelet.*
There is a limit of four (4) persons per campsite. All campers must have a SAWFEST concert ticket in order to get in to the campground on Friday.( in addition to the above mentioned special bracelet) Please insure that all members of your party have their concert tickets with them. Tickets will be available at the entrance to the campground for those who don’t.
There will be a shuttle bus service available between the campground and the concert field – times of departure will vary, but it should be running until after the concert (but not on Sunday).
We strongly recommend cans instead of bottles on the campground site.

Are there special prices for children?
PRISM was amazing! They were increadibly down to earth. I never left the front row during their show. They sighed autographs, took pictures and were very interactive on stage. I hope that there will be more Sawfests in the future.
