Bring your family and your shovels to join us for a fun-filled day on Alberta’s finest beach, Devonshire Beach for the Sandsculpture Championships (Sandcastle Championships).

This event is open to anyone willing to participate, if you can pack sand-you can sign up!

Lots of other activities happening throughout the day including our Annual Beach Volleyball Tournament, live entertainment, great food, and an array of activities for the children on the beach.

• 10:00 a.m. Registration (Sandsculpture Competition & Beach Volleyball)



• 1:00 p.m – 3:30 p.m – Sandsculpture Competition (Children’s Category)
• 11:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m Sandsculpture Competition (Open and Family Categories)
• 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Children’s Activities – Treasure Dig, Frisbee Toss, Watermelon eating contest, Face Painting, Tug of war, and many more exciting activities.
• 12:00 p.m. - Beach Volleyball Tournament (ages 14 & over) To register your team contact Shelaine @ 780 849-8004 or register on July 18 at Devonshire Beach.
• 3:30 p.m. – Judging Begins
• 4:30 p.m. – Sandsculpture Competition Winners announced
• Door Prizes – Lots of door prizes all day long
