Winterhawks and Wolves – schedule
Home games for the Slave Lake Winterhawks & Slave Lake Wolves this coming weekend.
Friday, Dec. 4 at 8:30 p.m. Slave Lake Wolves vs Whitecourt Wolverines and Sunday, Dec. 6 at 2:00 p.m. Wolves vs Beaverlodge at the Arctic Ice Centre.
Saturday, Dec. 5 at 8:15 p.m. Slave Lake Winterhawks vs Edson at the Arctic Ice Centre.

The Winterhawks will have one less team to battle with this season, the Fox Creek Bandits officially announced on Oct.4 that they would not be able to ice a team this season and have taken a leave of absence for the 2009/2010 season.
And the Lamont Bruins, who folded part way through the 2008/2009 season, will not be returning for this seasons play.
Remaining North Central Hockey League (NCHL) teams, along with the Slave Lake Winterhawks include last year’s league champions the Onoway Ice Dogs, the Athabasca Aces, the Drayton Valley Wildcats, the Edson Ice, the Hinton Heat, the Jasper Wolves and the Legal Vipers.
