KARE (Kindness and Respect for Everyone) activities: Mrs. Sheri Smears, KARE Committee Coordinator and Cst. Aaron Saylor will be making presentations to provide awareness on the Town of Slave Lake’s “Bullying Bylaw” and the “Business Block Parent Program” at St. Mary of the Lake on Monday, Nov. 16 and at E.G. Wahlstrom School Tuesday, Nov. 17 at 11:00 a.m.

Wednesday, Nov. 18 is “BLUE WEDNESDAY” Wear BLUE in your school, community and workplace.

Saturday, Nov. 14 at the Arctic Ice Centre Wolves vs Peace River at 5:00 p.m. and Winterhawks vs Onoway at 8:30 p.m. warm up at 8:00 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 15 at the Arctic Ice Centre Winterhawks vs Athabasca game time 12:30 p.m. warm up at 12:00 p.m. and the Wolves vs Grande Prairie at 3:00 p.m.

Support your local community FOOD BANK – If you still have your Tim Hortons FOOD DRIVE donation bag (in the Nov. 4 edition of the Lakeside Leader.) fill it with non-perishable food items and drop it off at Tim Hortons. Nov. 15. is the last day, or you can drop your donation off at the Community Food Band at the Slave Lake Native Friendship Centre anytime.
