Wednesday, April 28, 2010 How to Connect to Alberta’s Electric Grid – The presentation focuses on being practical and answering your questions about how to connect to Alberta’s Electricity distribution grid with your solar or microwind system. You will learn more about how it works and if you can feed excess electricity to the grid and get paid for it and what the steps are to get grid connected.
All sessions run from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. (MST) and The FEE for each session is $59 plus GST.
The facilitator is GORDON HOWEL a solar electric systems specialist with Howell-Mayhew Engineering, working with people to get their own systems designed and installed. Gordon has 15+ years of experience designing and developing solar electric systems. Gordon lives in an energy efficient house that has a solar electric system on his roof which provides 100% of his annual electric use.
