When I went grocery shopping, two carts were plugging the lane, I moved mine to let a lady through. We had a great time at games night at the lodge. Thanks to everyone that came out. The floor curling at the drop in center was also lots of fun (even though it got a little competitive) and the coffee and goodies were the perfect way to have a good visit. I have caught people letting other people go through the check out line in front of them, letting others out onto a busy intersection, students letting other students use the microwave before them so that they could make a meeting and the list goes on and on. I have witnessed already today, (the first day of Random Acts of Kindness WeeK) many kind acts. Most people don't even think about doing these kind acts or deeds, it just seems to be a natural thing for so many citizens in our town. I saw a car stop for a mom and young daughter so they could cross the street. There were smiles on all three faces! I saw a person out for a walk stop and pick up some litter, and someone else held the door open for me at the post office.
