On Saturday, February 7, three woodland caribou were shot and killed 70 kilometres north of Slave Lake on an oil lease road approximately 100 metres east of Highway 88.

Warning issued for Hygaard’s Sandwiches sold in Northern Alberta
The Canadian Food inspection Agency is warning the public not to eat two types of prepackaged sandwiches made by Sherwood Park’s Hygaard Fine Foods because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
A limited amount of these products were sold in Northern Alberta and Saskatchewan only.
