Bottle and can deposit rates to rise Nov. 1, 2008
Starting November 1st, the deposit rates for bottles, cans and juice boxes will rise to 10 cents for all containers under one litre and 25 cents for larger containers. This is a substantial increase for the smaller non-alcoholic containers and the first deposit increase in over 20 years.
