Rotary Club cash raffle winners

The draw for the “Perfect Stocking Stuffer” was held at Boston Pizza Tuesday, Dec. 29 at 10:00 am. Proceeds from the cash raffle will go to various Rotary supported community initiatives.

Jim Gamble is the Grand Champion of the Rotary Club’s Texas Hold’em fun Poker Tournament held Oct. 17 at the Sawridge Inn & Conference Centre.

That was the comment left on myslavelake.com after we published the photo gallery of the Rotary Club Texas hold’em fun Poker Tournament held in March, 2009.
Well, The Fun Poker Tournament is back and will be held at the Sawridge Inn and Conference Centre this Saturday, October 17 with doors opening at 5:00 p.m. and games starting at 6:00 p.m.
The “Heat Was On” in September
With a temperature of 28.3 degrees, September 3 was the hottest day in the Rotary Club’s “The Heat is on” raffle. Rose Conrad was the winner of the 1st place prize of $750.00 and the 2nd place prize of $250.00 went to Laura Vanderwell Ross.
