HOW DO I POST AN AD?
Placing an ad is very easy. Click on place your ad on the main classified page and fill out the form. Make sure you complete the required fields. Add your photo and submit.
CAN BUSINESSES PLACE ADS?
The Classifieds are intended for the sale of items by individuals and most home based businesses. EXCEPTIONS: Businesses can place ads in Jobs/Help and a business who advertises on myslavelake.com will be able to place a predetermined number of ads in the classifieds. ie. auto dealerships, real estate, recreational vehicles, large apartments…
CAN I INCLUDE MORE THAN ONE IMAGE?
You can include only one image with your ad. Keeping your image file size less than 1M will help when submitting your ad.
HOW DO I POST AN IMAGE WITH MY AD
Adding an image is the same as attaching a file to a e-mail. Please keep your file size below 1M. This is to reduce load times.
WHERE IS MY AD?
Your ad will not appear on the site immediately. Your ad will be reviewed and will usually be posted within 24 hours. It might take more time if you post an ad on the weekend or holidays. If you still can’t find your ad, are you looking in the right category?
WHAT ORDER ARE THE ADS DISPLAYED?
The most recent ads are displayed first.
CAN I POST AS MANY ADS AS I WANT?
There is a limit of 10 ads for the duration of the free period. This restriction is in place to prevent abusers from “spamming the site.” See item below.
INAPPROPRIATE MATERIAL OR ABUSE
Myslavelake.com reserves the right, without notice to decline any ad that we believe is not appropriate for our site. We wish to maintain the highest standards of integrity and legality on our site. If you submit an ad that is not appropriate, you will not receive a refund.
HOW LONG WILL MY AD STAY ON THE SITE?
Your ad will remain on the site for 30 days. Ads are automatically removed from the site 30 days after being posted.
HOW CAN I REMOVE MY AD?
If your posted item has been sold, please send an email to info@myslavelake.com. Do not leave sold items posted.
AVOIDING SCAMS
Buyers and sellers should be very careful before exchanging funds. There are numerous scams on the internet and elsewhere. Be cautious if someone out of province or the country offers to send you a money order or by wiring money. Remember, if it is too good to be true, it usually is.
