Part of the "Alternative Energy & Efficiency Series." We've done lots of solar research for you and assembled it into one place. In this 2 hour course you will learn more about solar electricity, how it works, what it can do for your home, what equipment is available and what the costs are.

DREAMS IN MOTION TEAM

"Dreams in Motion" Team LINSAY WILLIER and JAMES JONES will be visiting Slave Lake to talk with young people about accomplishing their goals and dreams, and living a healthy lifestyle.

At 4:00 p.m. "Linsay and James will be hanging out at the Rotary Club of Slave Lake Public Library after school"

At 7:00 p.m. there will be an interactive workshop at Roland Michener Junior High Gym. The workshop is open to youth of all ages and is free.

LEARN TO RUN a 10k

Starting Saturday, March 13 at 10:00 a.m. at Northern Lakes College.

The Slave Lake Running Group will like to invite beginning or re-starting runners to follow a “Learn to Run” program with new friends. Meet every Saturday and go for smoothies at “Here’s to Your Health” afterwards. The program takes you gently from “Walk 1 minute, Run 2 minutes to be able to “Run 10 minutes, Walk 1 minute for 10k” in 13 weeks. Just in time for the Bird Run/Walk on June 6.

The Library will be doing a remake of one of the earliest plays from the past. Who remembers; "Where Were You in '72? If you do, don't tell the ending... or better yet, they will change the ending, but leave the play like the first time. Catering by Doug Bolan and all Bar Proceeds will go to the Arena Fundraising Committee.

Hosted by the Southshore Children's Association. Activities are themed for ages 0 - 6 years, but all ages are welcome. Firearms Safety. anyone who wishes to acquire firearms in Canada must first pass the Canadian Firearms Safety Course exam in order to apply for their Possession & Acquisition License (PAL).

This course will help those who have never handled guns gain a good understanding of the subject. Students who have experience find the course to be a great refresher & excellent preparation for the exam at the end of the course.
