LEARN TO RUN a 10k
The Slave Lake Running Group will like to invite beginning or re-starting runners to follow a “Learn to Run” program with new friends. Meet every Saturday and go for smoothies at “Here’s to Your Health” afterwards. The program takes you gently from “Walk 1 minute, Run 2 minutes to be able to “Run 10 minutes, Walk 1 minute for 10k” in 13 weeks. Just in time for the Bird Run/Walk on June 6.

17 ANNUAL MURDER MYSTERY DINNER
The Library will be doing a remake of one of the earliest plays from the past. Who remembers; "Where Were You in '72? If you do, don't tell the ending... or better yet, they will change the ending, but leave the play like the first time. Catering by Doug Bolan and all Bar Proceeds will go to the Arena Fundraising Committee.

POSSESSION ACQUISITION LICENSE
Firearms Safety. anyone who wishes to acquire firearms in Canada must first pass the Canadian Firearms Safety Course exam in order to apply for their Possession & Acquisition License (PAL).
This course will help those who have never handled guns gain a good understanding of the subject. Students who have experience find the course to be a great refresher & excellent preparation for the exam at the end of the course.
