MAIN STREET IN BLOOM

Slave Lake Beautification provided by Kinette Club of Slave Lake and other volunteers. Takes place 1st week in June.

Flower baskets are placed along main street, around the Post Office, in the Wal-Mart/Canadian Tire/Sobey's parking lots and down the Vanderwell Lodge Street. Fully funded by the Kinette Club by way of donations from Slave Lake residents and businesses. All donations are welcome.

FRIENDSHIP CENTRE AGM

Thursday, June 17, Supper at 6 p.m, Meeting at 7 p.m. The Slave Lake Friendship Centre.

The Annual General Meeting is an opportunity for you, our valued patrons, to help make a difference. We are interested in your ideas on improving our existing programs, developing new ones and of course, fundraising. Memberships are only $2/person or $5/family. A membership entitles you to 10% off items in our Native Handicrafts store and hall rentals, but more importantly, you can have your voice heard and take an active role in the Centre

There will be five seats on our Board to fill and we are looking for DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS to join our team!! Our Board members are all volunteers that care about and support our community and the services the Friendship Centre provides. In order to vote, memberships need to be purchased by June 3, 2010. We hope to see you at the meeting!
